Safety
At Amni, safety and operating efficiency are not compromised. The company has invested enormously in training staff in safety and health related subjects. It believes that safety consciousness within the workplace can not be over-emphasized.

Facilities

The company operates from 2 offices, its head office in Lagos and its field office in Port Harcourt. The entire offshore production system consist of the following:

* A Mobile Offshore Production Unit (MOPU) with process capabilities of 50,000BOPD, 25,000BWPD and 60MMCFG/D

* 4 Waukesha compressors of 2500 HP each to handle over 100MMCFG/D. Used primarily for gas re-injection to maintain reservoir pressure thereby reducing gas flaring.

* Offshore Transport Pipelines connected to a Single Point Buoy Mooring
System

* HP Flare Stack plus a 16’ OD Flare Line.

* A 1,000,000 bbls Floating Storage & Offloading Unit (FSO).

* A 17km, 12'' Subsea Pipeline.

* A Terminal (Amni operates and maintains her own Terminal, the IMA Terminal to minimise interruption in her operational activities).

* Well Head Platform

* Production flowlines

* Gas lift flowline

* Floating production storage off take vessel, with 200,000bbl capacity

Production has been centered around 10 exploration, appraisal and development wells in the IMA Field. These wells were successfully drilled between June 1994 and December 1997. Daily average production reached a peak of 27, 000 bopd in June 1997 and has gradually declined to the current level of 2, 500 bopd due to dwindling reservoir pressure.
